Yankhoba Momodou Osterholzer
Yankhoba Momodou Osterholzer leads Alpha Quadrat as founder and managing director. He combines technical understanding with commercial training and experience in running projects where many stakeholders, tight deadlines and clear budgets come together.
In recent years he lived, studied and worked in the United States. That time still shapes how he works: high pace, uncompromising client focus, and the attitude that a problem is worked until a solution stands.
His role in the company: he structures projects, organises the collaboration between clients, designers and authorities, and makes sure meetings turn into decisions. Clients get one contact who listens, prioritises and delivers, in German and in English.

Lazaros Amperidis
Lazaros Amperidis is an architect and member of the Chamber of Architects North Rhine-Westphalia, with project lead experience from large-scale projects, where he led larger design teams.
At Alpha Quadrat he is responsible for the legally protected services: permit design, building applications, change-of-use procedures and technical assessments are produced under his direction and carry his personal signature.

An office that scales with your project.
Alpha Quadrat works as a coordination office. The core stays deliberately lean: short paths, fast answers, one contact. For each project we assemble the right team from a permanent network of registered partner architects, specialist engineers and fire safety and inspection experts, many with references from large-scale projects up to airports.
We do not name network partners on the website. You meet them in person, with references and credentials for your specific project. Discretion is part of the craft in our industry.
German projects are designed by several disciplines at once.
One point that regularly surprises clients from abroad: in Germany the architect does not carry the whole design. Structure, fire safety, building services, building physics and surveying are separate professional disciplines with their own evidence obligations and their own liability. On public projects they usually have to be procured separately as well. We assemble and coordinate them for your project, and we name the disciplines here rather than partner logos, because we do not publish partners without their consent.
Structural design
The structure decides economics and feasibility early. Working in a network means the structural assessment enters the first design options, not the finished scheme.
Building services and energy design
Heating, ventilation, sanitary and electrical installations determine running costs and eligibility for funding. An energy concept brought in early holds the regulatory requirements and the life-cycle costs together.
Fire safety
A workable fire safety concept in the early phase prevents expensive redesign during the permit procedure. In a network the evidence is coordinated with the design and the structure rather than submitted afterwards.
Surveying
Dependable data on the existing site and building is the basis of any design. Site plans, measured surveys and setting out, at the accuracy the design and the works actually need.
Building physics and acoustics
Thermal performance, moisture protection and sound insulation decide comfort and freedom from defects. The evidence secures the details before they are built.
External works
Outdoor space is part of the use value, not the leftover area. Access, drainage, quality of stay and maintenance effort are designed in from the start.

Contracting party
Alpha Quadrat Bauplanung & Projektmanagement UG (haftungsbeschränkt), a German limited company registered in the commercial register at Wuppertal Local Court (Amtsgericht Wuppertal), HRB 37161.
Professional responsibility
Responsibility for design work lies with our registered architect, a member of the Architektenkammer Nordrhein-Westfalen (AKNW 32316). Legally protected services carry his personal signature.
Professional indemnity
For design services we take out professional indemnity insurance before the first design commission and provide the certificate before the contract is concluded. We do not begin design work without cover in place.
Independence
We are independent of trades and suppliers and receive no commission from contractors. The firm checking the work is not the firm being paid for it, which is the whole point of appointing us.
Languages and location
Working languages English and German. Office in Wuppertal, North Rhine-Westphalia; site meetings across NRW, video calls in your time zone.
Discretion
We do not name clients, projects or network partners publicly without their consent. You meet the partners for your project in person, with references and credentials.
